Mankind is Obsolete (MKIO) is touring the US & Canada during the summer of 2006. GothRadio staff got the chance to see them live & they were excellent! Fields of the Nephilim CD Re-Release & More…

The Fields of the Nephilim CD “Mourning Sun” was originally released in Europe in 2005, with only limited availability in the United States as an import. But, now an official US release of “Mourning Sun” has hit stores, as of April 25, 2006. GothRadio.com staff have had the chance to listen to the US version and give it positive reviews across the board. We've added a couple FOTN tracks to our station's playlist to give you a sneak preview that we're sure will get you in the mood to buy the new CD so you can enjoy more of Carl's fine work on “Mourning Sun”. Also, look for a worldwide TOUR around the end of 2006. (See our interview of Carl McCoy).

Sisters of Mercy Tour

The Sisters of Mercy are on Tour! It's been a while and it's good to see them back in action. They will be touring the US and Canada during February and March of 2006, with special guests The Warlocks. TSOM helped define the genre of Gothic Music in its early days and their music has stood the test of time. It is still as brilliant today as it was when it was first released. The news gets better...

Also, they're working on songs for a new album, now that their bumpy relationship with East West Records is officially over. Maybe they'll premier some of the new material during this tour - of course we won't know for sure until the tour starts, but many bands do this to "fine tune" or even further develop new songs before recording, often using audience reaction to help them know what's "working."
